Insurance Defense Success
Cokinos, Bosien & Young hired us to surveil an individual who claimed he was so severely injured he couldn't leave his house. Investigators from another firm had previously surveilled the individual without any success.
The first three times we surveilled the residence, we never saw the individual leave the house but on one visit documented that there was a new boat in the driveway.
We continued to surveil the house during the weekends and finally "hit pay dirt". The Complainant, "who couldn't leave the house", had been "miraculously healed". We obtained videotape of this individual working on his boat, hitching it to his car, driving to the lake, and setting it in the water. Several hours later, we obtained film of him, returning from boating on the water, loading his boat on his trailer and returning home. He doesn't know it yet, but I think his little Saturday excursion probably cost him quite a large amount of money.
State Farm Insurance hired Gradoni & Associates to locate a stolen silver 2005 Mercedes which originally had been registered in the State of Louisiana. State Farm identified what they believed to be the name of the suspect who was in possession of the Mercedes. Utilizing the Firm's extensive databases, we were able to identify three potential addresses for the suspect in the Houston area. Investigators visited the three targeted residences in the early morning hours and found a 2005 gray Mercedes parked in the driveway of one of the residences, displaying Texas tags instead of Louisiana tags.
The Investigator, under a guise, was able to approach the residence, identify the VIN number and determine that the Mercedes was in fact the stolen vehicle. State Farm was able to utilize the information to have Law Enforcement recover the vehicle.
State Farm Insurance asked Gradoni & Associates to surveil a lady living in Eagle Pass who claimed that she was severely handicapped as the result of an automobile accident. The claimant's Attorney was asking for the $500,000 policy limit.
The purpose of the surveillance was to determine the extent of the claimant's injuries.
