The Case of the Staged Meth Arrest

Wayne Hill and David Jones represented an individual charged with possession of methamphetamines. The police report indicated that the male was stopped on a routine traffic violation for not having a front license plate. The officer then arrested the defendant for this traffic violation. The arrest allowed the officer to do an inventory search of the defendant’s truck, upon which he found the contraband.

Gradoni’s Investigation Makes the Difference

Our investigation team identified, found and obtained an affidavit from a police informant who actually watched the arrest, admitting to setting up the defendant in exchange for her boyfriend not being charged with felony possession of a weapon. Guess the officer got his stories mixed up!
