Keith Kucifer Case Mgr & Senior Investigator

Prior to entering law enforcement, Keith graduated with a Bachelor of Behavioral Science degree from Hardin Simmons University.

After graduating from college, Keith worked in law enforcement for the Texas Department of Public Safety for 26 years, spending the first 13 1/2 years of as a Highway Patrol Trooper stationed in Fort Bend County, Texas.

He holds a Master Peace Officer’s Certification, as well as a Police Instructor’s License/Certification.

During his tenure in Fort Bend County, Keith was a regular instructor at the Gus George Law Enforcement Academy teaching Accident Investigation and Patrol Procedures.  He later taught locally and nationally regarding the detection of drugged drivers after receiving intensive training on the subject. In 1988 Keith was selected as Fort Bend County’s Trooper of the Year by the 100 Club.

After his promotion to Sergeant, Keith was assigned to the Motor Vehicle Theft Service (MVTS) in the Houston region. As a member of the MVTS, Keith conducted various types of investigations regarding Auto Theft, Aggravated Robbery, Fraud, Financial Crimes, Forgery, and Identity Theft. Not long after promoting to the MVTS, Keith was assigned to a multi-agency auto theft task force based out of the Houston Police Department.

In 2003 Keith received a Texas DPS Director’s Citation for outstanding investigative work after he dismantled a major auto theft criminal enterprise during a two year long investigation in which he located and recovered over 140 stolen vehicles valued at more than $3,000,000, as well as identified and charged 9 suspects with Engaging in Organized Crime.

Keith was promoted to Lieutenant in charge of Motor Vehicle Theft Service investigators in the Corpus Christi region, directing the strategic and operational management of criminal investigations for a 14 county area in South Texas. He also taught auto theft related topics at local agencies, as well as at the DPS Academy.

Keith serves as our social media expert, possessing the ability to search all corners of the web in order to identify information regarding individuals we are investigating. His meticulous attention to detail has, on many occasions, produced blockbuster information.

Keith’s diversified experience in investigating all types of cases makes him very well suited to analyze a case, identify case objectives, and either perform the work himself or assign the work to one of our staff investigators. Once the investigative assignments are complete, Keith has the responsibility of putting together the entire work product in a detailed and comprehensive report for the Client.
