Crackhead-Involved Shooting, Failed Extortion Ploy
Attorney Gilbert Garcia represented a Defendant who was charged with the shooting of his brother during a disagreement at their father’s house.

Investigators were able to assist Gilbert in putting together a package, which showed that the victim was actually a crackhead who had come to his father’s house to extort money. When told to leave, he became aggressive and the defendant shot him in self-defense.
The Grand Jurors agreed with our position and No Billed the Defendant.
